How to Access a Delegated Gmail Account

Sometimes as a member of a team or other organization, you may need to access a Lyon Gmail account that is delegated to you. Delegated accounts are designed for users to manage a single account, yet maintain audit trail for accountability. Here's how you can access a delegated Gmail account.

Instructions

To access a delegated Gmail account, you need to follow these steps:

Sign-in to Gmail and click the Google Account button at the top right of the screen.
Click the Delegated account you want to access and it will be opened in a new browser tab.

If the expected delegated account does not appear here, close and reopen your web browser. Then try accessing the account again.

If the account is still not visible in this list, please submit a support ticket with Lyon IT at the Lyon Support Portal.
