How to Create a Zoom Meeting and add it to your Google Calendar
- Objective:
This tutorial will show you how to create a Zoom meeting from your google calendar. Users will need access to the internet and valid Lyon username and password to complete this tutorial.
SKIP TO STEP 4 and return to STEP 1 if you do not have the zoom add-on available:
1. Navigate to https://workspace.google.com/marketplace/app/zoom_for_google_workspace/364750910244 and click install

2. Click "Continue" and the select your Lyon College Gmail account. Enter the information if it is not already there.

3. A message will appear that says "Zoom would like access to a list of google services". Scroll down to the bottom and click "Allow"

4. Navigate to your Google Calendar by clicking on the "9 dots" found in the upper right hand side of a new tab in Google Chrome.

5. Click the rainbow Plus found in the upper left hand side of the screen and select "Event"

6. Tap the video conferencing drop-down and select Zoom Meeting.

- 7. Enter your meeting details such as the title, location, and guest list.
- 8. In the top-right corner, tap Save.
