Changing an Email Signature
Setting / Updating Email Signatures
Below is a quick three step guide to setting an Email signature using Google Mail services (Gmail).
These steps will work for updating previously set signatures as well as setting a new one.
Step One
From the main screen of Gmail the user will want to locate the "Cog Wheel" located in the top right of the page to access their account settings as seen below.
Step Two
Once this has been clicked on a drop down menu will appear and the user will want to click on the option for "See all settings". This will open a new page with more options.
Step Three
Once the user has arrived on this last page, they will need to scroll down in the "General" tab until they locate the signature section which is outlined in the picture below. Here they can select "Create new" to create a new signature and place in the signature they wish to use. They can then choose to use the signature in forwarded emails or only in new ones under "Signature defaults".
Once the user is happy with the new signature, all that is left is to scroll to the bottom of the page and simply select "Save Changes" and exit the page.
